Our Beehive mortice door knob is crafted from solid brass and mounted on an unsprung, inseparable rose, relying on the spring in the door lock for smooth back-and-forth movement. The term "Beehive" refers to the distinctive reeding on the knob and rose plate. These elegant knobs bring vintage charm and sophistication to any space, continuing the popularity they enjoyed in Victorian homes. Versatile in design, they can also be used as mortice knobs and are supplied in pairs.
