Codyhill Plaster Coving
Grand Victorian Plaster Coving with Intricate Profiles – Handcrafted in Yorkshire

The Codyhill Plaster Coving is a bold and intricate design, faithfully recreated from an original in-situ mould discovered in a large Victorian country house. Featuring a richly layered composition of ridges, ogee curves, and sweeping concave and convex forms, this coving brings authentic architectural grandeur and 19th-century craftsmanship to any interior.

With a generous projection of 220mm (8.66 inches) and a drop of 150mm (5.90 inches), it is a substantial and imposing profile—ideal for formal reception rooms, grand staircases, entrance halls, and other rooms with high ceilings and impressive proportions.

Each length is handmade in Yorkshire using traditional plastering techniques. Cast in finely detailed moulds from the finest British gypsum plaster and reinforced with fibrous materials, this coving offers sharp definition, durability, and the enduring elegance of genuine Victorian plasterwork.
